How to use business meetings to generate ideas?
As the leading role in the office you are accountable to develop various ideas to market your product.

Plan Your Meeting.
Generate ideas through a meeting is a traditional method.  Before taking actual meeting plan your meeting.Success of your meeting depends on this planning.  Think in your mind about below mentioned questions
• Why you need some new ideas?
• Is this idea will help to improve the internal process?
• Is this idea is helpful to increase our business?
• Is this idea is helpful in our marketing plan?
Answer those questions and create format for the meeting, which you can break into timeframe activities.  On the basis of this study create a brief note about this meeting and send it to your employees.Fix meeting date on the basis of availability of the employees.Send formal invitation to the employees.
Boss’s Role at the meeting:
At the beginning of the meeting give short brief about the meeting subject which needs new ideas.
Start with the meeting activity which already divided into specific timeframe.Start discussion after the introduction about the topic.

Encourage employees to start thinking on the subject from the possible to the wild ideas.This is the basic step in our meeting to find out new ideas.
Employees Role in the meeting:

As a meeting conducting authority collect all the ideas, ask one by one each employee to explain his thinking / idea within 5-10 minutes.
Select the suitable Idea:
Make selection of most suitable idea from the ideas.You can allocate 20 minutes for discussion on the suitable idea if you come out with more than one suitable idea.
List down the actions required:
This is the last step in meeting, list down all the required actions to make us of this idea into our business plan.
