Effective Time Management – 8 Important Tips
There are some basic guiding principles to get more work done in less time. Following are the basic 8 tips for effective time management.
1. Set goal: This is basic and first step to get success. Fix a specific goal; put it down on the paper. Break that goal into small tasks. Put some time frame for each of this task. This will help us in the later stage to compare with actual outcome from our work and our goal.

4. Be at the work place: close all the doors or discussion with your office colleagues. Put your phone on silent mode. This will help you to concentrate on your work. While working on the computer close the chat sits as well as sites like social updates like facebook, twitter etc.
5. Guess task time: plan your task on the basis of time required. Try to finish out that task in that time frame only. Don’t waste your time on certain unwanted tasks like online chatting and surfing the net.
6. Less thinking and more doing: plan your task and start actions to perform the tasks. Just thinking will not help us to complete our task.
7. Avoid delays: Try to avoid delays and try to complete this task in given time frame. Stop giving excuse and reasons why we have not completed these tasks in time.
8. Take rewards and Breaks: To motive yourself take rewards if you done all your work without delays and as per the required results. Take break from your activates, this break will help us to increase our productivity in work. Don’t hesitate to take break after successful completion of task.
